The calculator you mentioned is a great general purpose guide, but isn't 100%. Nothing will be. However, you won't get any closer without using a wattage measurement meter between your PC and your outlet, which I've seen on Amazon for anywhere between $17 and $100, depending on features, brand, and seller.

Knowing you have enough with what you currently have is great, but rerun the calculations with everything you plan to add in the future to see if your power supply will be sufficient.

With just 1 more hard drive and 3 led fans, I'd say you should be just fine. However, I'm the kind of person that won't take someone's word for it without seeing the number's myself, and running the calculations. Recheck the calculations with all added future components you want and you'll see what your PSU can truly handle for you.

Hi - Almost all these calculators add in quite a bit of headroom, so if adds to 461w, it's actually somewhat less.
If you post your specs including the Cougar model #, we'd know for sure. Most CPU's fall in a fairly narrow range (85-125w), exceptions of course. But fans are less than 5w, so it really comes down to what GPU you are running.

Hi - I'll be redundant, need your sys specs. Fans which are less than 5w & hard drives which run 6-9w are
inconsequential. 4Fans + 3hard drives is less than 45w. The GPU is the deciding factor, and you haven't listed it
yet.

Hi again - The key factor is the available +12v rail amps and not total wattage. The CPU, GPU,
and hdd all draw their current from the +12v rail(s). I could not find a trusted review of the
Cougar SL600. However, it is listed as having 40 +12v amps available.
A system with an R9 - 270x needs > than 24 +12v amps, the SL600 is more than enough amps avail
to power your proposed system.

Yes you can do that easily. Like someone said above, the wattage is minimal, so if you have the room for it, go for it!

Yes, the PSU has plenty of power for your specs. You can put the fan in the open slot, either 3 or 4 pin.
It should fit only the correct way, but not always the case. You can also use a molex/peripheral connector
for fans, but they will always run at top speed.

Yes, prob have to remove a couple plates from the back - but with fans drawing less than 5w ea, it
really isn't necessary.
