I have a new Western Digital Enterprise 2tb drive which suffers from loss of its partitions. This has now happened about 6 times. It happens seemingly randomly every few days.
I can restore the partitions fairly easily using minitool partition recovery and otherwise the drive works fine. I have used Western Digitals Lifeguard diagnostics to check it and it passed the tests. I only use it for data at the moment so I don't boot an OS from it.
I have 4 older disks in my system and none of them suffers this problem.
I run a multiboot sytem but mainly use Win 7 64 bit.
I am wondering whether to RMA it but it seems fine in every other way.
Anyone come across this before? Any idea what could cause it?
Thanks for any help.

Thanks. I did RMA it and it was found to be faulty.
This is the second of these that has been faulty.
Strange for an enterprise class drive.
I have replaced it with a Toshiba which is fine.
