I am looking to upgrade my pc with i-3 processor, intel motherboard and 1GB ATI Graphics.

I am not willing to upgrade 230 v power supply and 1 gb ddr2 ram (can buy additional 2gb for the same)

ASUS and Gigabyte motherboards are acceptable.
I am willing to spend 10-14k

# No AMD Processors

You should look no less then 4GB of RAM for gaming and a corsair VS550W PSU, don't buy cheap zebronics or IBall PSUs they are of very low quality.

Newer AMD cards don't come with ATI branding. What model card are you looking at? Remember for gaming the graphic card is the most important part.

What resolution will you be playing at? I think you should really be going with AMD because you simply cannot get a good PC for you budget if you are going with Intel.

I will suggest a AMD APU PC, that you will have good upgrade options in the future.

You will really have to provide more information than that.

What is the make, brand and wattage (Watts not Volts) of you Power Supply?

Most modern motherboards do not support DDR2 RAM and 1GB or even 2GB is very low (mobiles have 3GB RAM nowadays).

Intel motherboards have no premium and are usually not worth their price and people buy them only for the brand which I think makes no sense as brands like Gigabyte and MSI make better motherboards for usually cheaper rates.

What is 1GB ATI Graphics? ATI no longer exits, ATI is bought by AMD. 1GB is just the frame buffer and a lot of things matter other then just the RAM.

Take time when writing your questions and be as specific as possible!

I will buy a new power supply.and 2 GB DDR-3 RAM
i know ati was aquired by amd but still their cards comes out as ATI XXX series :D
i am limiting myself to 1GB graphics as it won't be used for that much high end gaming. My bro will play games like nfs COD-morden warfare-2
MSI, Asus or gigabyte?
