so I have a m5a97 and i want to know if i swap out my motherboard for another mobo with the same chipset do i have to reinstall the os or wil the os be ready to go

Well, being it the same chipset, it might gives you no problems at all, but I've read everywhere that it's always better to do a clean install of everything after you change the motherboard
