Hello all!

My current PC build is this:

  • ■ CPU: Intel Core i5 750
    ■ Motherboard: MSI P55 GD-65
    ■ RAM: Corsair 2x2GB DDR3 @1333Mhz
    ■ GPU: Gigabyte Radeon HD5850
    ■ PSU: CoolerMaster SilentPro M600
    ■ HDD: Western Digital WD6400AAKS

That's all the information needed I believe.
So I'm thinking of upgrading the CPU (and essentially the mobo) as well as increasing the RAM to 8GB and buying an SSD. I mainly want to see better everyday performance in simple tasks and CAD programs. I'd also like to run a virtual machine without any problems.
I think the GPU is still strong and for the time being I won't replace it.
Do I also need to replace the PSU or it provides enough power to cover the new system?

I live in Albania (Europe) and the Electronics market here is pretty bad so I'm thinking of ordering from US and using a service like Stackry to ship the items. So in order to minimize the cost I'd prefer free US shipping.
Budget is the lowest possible to cover my needs.

So what do you think? I'd also like suggestions about stackry and item forwarding from US. Can I trust a service like this?
Thank you in advance for your help. I really love this community!

Cheers!

You could use your RAM with this RAM to get you to 12GB of RAM if you want, if not this includes 8GB. The 8320 will be best bang for you buck. It's great in multi-thread applications, like CAD.

Thank you for your reply!

I really like this build, everything seems value for money.
So my PSU can handle this system?
And what about a cooler? I have Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus. Is it compatible with the AM3+ socket? Cause the specs only mention AM3.

Some information about stackry or something similar would be great. I'm a bit concerned

AM3 and AM3+ are the same cooler spec, so you're good there. And this is great value for money. Intel would be better with the i7, but then you're paying over twice as much, and you won't get twice the increase in performance.

And you'd have to wait for another to reply, I'm not familiar with Stackry, unfortunately :(
