Hello all,

I have partitioned my SSD into a Ubuntu partition and a Windows 7 partition. I enjoyed Ubuntu at first but now I want to delete that partition and give the space back to my Windows partition. I have no clue how to do this. I looked through the forums but was reluctant to start doing anything due to specificity of the problem I have. That is, I would like a response specific to my system because I do not want to erase or corrupt my SSD by accident.

I would consider myself technologically aware but I really have no clue on how to start with this process, considering that the partitioning was entirely automated by the Ubuntu application. Any help is appreciated.

Solution
Getting rid of the partition is fairly easy - go into disk management, right click on the Ubuntu Partition and choose "delete volume". You can now create a new volume, or right click on your windows partition and choose "extend partition".

You will still have the boot menu, to change that, run msconfig, go to the boot tab, then select the Ubuntu line(s), and click delete. You are done!
