Where is the security section of The Forum?

Oh, sorry. Well I was just wondering if running a game called Xonotic in a program called "sandboxie" could prevent players making servers on there from hacking into my PC. I had that happen once before where they somehow were able to open my dvd drive (on a Linux machine at that!) from their end. Thanks!

EDIT: this actually happened in the old days when Xonotic was called Nexuiz.

Assuming you have a properly configured firewall and even default Windows security in place you should fine with or without running a game in a sandbox. Of course, using a sandbox will increase your security posture. Worth checking out for your peace of mind.
