Why does my friend get the same fps that I get altough

So question is why, my friend get the same fps in Bf4 i altough i have better computer?

My build:
16gb ram
Intel Core i7 4 770
Nvidia geforce gtx 780

Friend's build:
8gb ram
intel core i5 4570
nvidia geforce gtx 660 oc

We have the same monitor: Asus VE247H It's fullhd monitor with 60Hz...

Is It possible that my display is not too good or something. Example I don't have too high resolution for gtx 780 to show its all power.

If you are playing multi-player, this might be the reason you don't see big differences. Compare your PC to your friend's in single-player campaign mode with all of the video details cranked and MSAA turned up. You will probably see a bigger difference.

Thanks all for The answers!

I forget to say that i had the same gpu that my friend had because we built our Systems together, so when i bought the 780 the difference between 660 oc was max about 20 fps so is the difference so small?

I know all graphics setting are Maximised in both situations.
