Hello guys, good afternoon :)

I'm having a problem with my External HD, from Seagate ...

It "supposedly" has 1TB, as we all know, it's not fully useable, it should have 930GB, but something has happened yesterday. I was putting some games on it ( not installing, just storing the image files, if something happens to the actual CD ) and then it dropped from 100GB available to 20GB available.

And it is NOT from the game image files size, and I know that because I deleted some movies I had in there, and still the available space wouldn't rise as expected.

Sorry for putting in a print of the whole screen but, it's just to show that I selected everything in my external HD "~Le Bank" and got the full size of everything in there ... I cleared almost 150GB of movies for nothing .-.

That thing above the properties, is the cropped print of what it shows me on the 'My Computer' screen

I tried some things already:
Like this one below, I don't know if it is ~unfragmentation~ in english so I got the print for you to see the icon and get what I mean. But this didn't get me my space back

I would be very very grateful if someone knows what is happening and could give an advice to a desperate guy, which does not want to buy another External HD

Once again sorry for bringing those big prints, and sorry for any english error in the text, I try my best but still got a long way to go :) [pics' language are in Brazilian-Portuguese, sorry]

It's not very clear in the first print, but it says I have 18,6GB of space in disk. When I make a selection of everything in the E-HDD and check it's properties, it says that the whole bunch of files has 711GB total file size.

when I get home I'll try anti-virus'ing each folder, who knows, to see if it is a virus ( which I think is not very true, at least I've never seen a 200GB virus )

I didn't really want to loose this E-HDD but if there's no solution I'll have to ...
now with blu-ray things are gonna get a little better ... storing 1TB in a DVD9 is not very cool xD

Not yet.

But I use it mostly like a Data Traveler, and on both PCs there's that same issue.

Just to make sure I already Emptied one of the Recycle Bins, and when I get home I'll empty that one too.

Hope it helps *-* ( I'd never think about that .-. )
If it's that tomorrow I'll pick your post as the solution ( I don't know if it helps with badges and all, but I do like to recognize people that helps :) )
