So my friend wants me to post his build to make sure everything is good to go. So here it is. If you have any improvements or recommendations feel free to post up. Thank you for looking ahead of time. Ah, all of this is built off newegg except the GPU which is from EVGA.com

So there it is. I think everything looks great and this is what he is dead set on if everything just works right. Would like some input for people that have more experience then me since I have only just recently built my first.

If it is a pure gaming PC then a 4770k is quite overkill as gaming doesn't need anything more than an i5-4670k. You will save plenty of money by choosing an i5 which will come in handy in future upgrades. However if you want do video editing and 3D rendering like stuff also then you can go for the 4770k.

I'd suggest you to get a liquid cpu cooler like corsair H100i instead of that phanteks air cooler as it has much more cooling potential and will help to keep your cpu cooler during an overclock.
And if you choose a H100i then make sure that your case supports the radiator and the fans.

Unless you are planning to do a multi GPU setup in the future, a 850W PSU is not at all required. A good quality 650watts PSU, with a min of 42A in the +12V rail, is enough for a single 780Ti.
