Hey guy's, building a Gaming PC to start up a YouTube channel soon (plus I just love gaming, and I'm fed up of Microsoft and Sony's shitty consoles and charges) These are my specs so far:
-Zalman Z12 Plus Midi Tower Case:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00B839IHO/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE
-Motherboard?????
-Intel i5 4670k CPU:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00CO8TBOW/ref=ox_sc_act_title_6?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE
-Gigabyte Nvidea GTX660 2GB Graphics Card:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0099AOAUI/ref=ox_sc_act_title_7?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE
-Corsair Vengeance 8GB RAM:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0085IZRSO/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE
-Corsair Builder Series 500W PSU:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00ALK1GFC/ref=ox_sc_act_title_5?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE
-Western Digital 1TB HDD (Black):
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00FJRS6FU/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1AUCPBF2P18HS
-Kingston 120GB V300 SSD:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00A1ZTZOG/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE
So far things have come to £605.90 (original budget £600)
I have a few questions, but the main one is this; is there a good, cheap motherboard that fits all these components and allows overclocking? On that note I intend to add water cooling when I can, will my case support enough water cooling for both the CPU and GPU overclocked (is the GPU even necessary?)
Also, is there anywhere here I could save some money? My uses for this computer would be gaming whilst recording, rendering in HD and posting to youtube so performance is vital.
Any and all help is appreciated,
Curly Joe
