Hello i am trying to remember the name of an old computer game that i played in the early 2000's it was probably released late 1990's.

Description: It opens with a ladies voice talking about a crystal or star that appeared over this place in their world and there are different "factions", and i use the term loosely, trying to get to it before the others.

You can choose your race and the races have different attitudes toward your race their either allies, neutral, or enemies. It is a turn based, X amount of moves to explore the map clearing the fog of war and you run into other players or bots and can either join up (allies) or recruit (neutral) or battle (Enemies) finding temples and exploring.

When your moving in game you combine units into a company and during battles it zooms in and your units are broken down into their own individual pieces and the battle field has you with x amount of moves and different attacks with range, melee, or splash damage.

Sorry its such a long description but i really miss this game and as a kid i cant recall the name. I'll look into any suggestions so anything you can give me would be much appreciated.
