Hello! So I really wanna decrease load times in games like skyrim to where there aren't any load times at all! Or at least just half a second long. Currently I have a Kingston Hyper X 250GB ssd + a WD Black 1Tb where I store my games. Also should I swap out the WD Black for a velociraptor?

Then it could simply be that 3 seconds is about the best your PC can do - when games load, they often need to decompress game data, pre-compute tables for graphics effects, initialize a bunch of objects and structures, initialize the graphics system and engine, sound system, etc. so if you practically eliminated disk IO as the most likely cause of that three seconds, most of what is left must be processing time and other latency that you cannot do much about.

Well you 'could' try installing your game on the SSD and see how much it improves the situation.
If it makes things instant like you want, then it may be worth it to look for a solution to store your games on, if it doesn't then it won't really make a difference what you do with the 2nd HDD. But overall these days you are probably better off with an SSD for the games as the velociraptors are pretty expensive and with SSD's coming down in price they are almost at the same level and perform even better.
