Hi there! I've recently bought 2x r9 270x oc gigabyte (windforce) Gpu, and also a new power supply, corsair rm850 (850w).

My specs are :
i5 661 3,3ghz
8gb ram
ssd 300gb intel s710(os installed on this)
hdd seagate 500gb
the graphiccards recently mentioned and that powersupply
Asus p7p55d motherboard
Benq e2250hd
windows 7 64b

now for the issue at hand, first of. i have ccc 13.12 installed, latest motherboard drivers and so forth.
but even with these spec i can't run ANY game properly except for League of legends or some other moba game,
in metro last light i almost get 15 fps whilst playing on lowest settings on 1920x1080.
and in battlefield 4 on lowest i get 30fps if i look into the ground where nothing's happening.
i've tried all i could come up with, i've installed the beta driver for ccc in hopes it would fix the issue at hand since i read somewhere that people was having exactly the same issue as i do
and they get told just to wait for the new drivers to come out but it didn't help. now i disconnected the xfire bride and pulled out the pcie cables to one of my gpus and that helped a tiny bit with the fps but not much though.. any tips what might help? besides waiting for the drivers? ^^

Ok here are a couple things you can try uninstall and reinstall the drivers with both cards connected via the crossfire link. update 2 14.1 drivers
secondary your motherboard will work like this ... 2 x PCIe 2.0 x16 (single at x16 or dual at x8 / x8 mode) so it splits one 16x lane into two. something they did in previously in patches with battle field 4 has changed the performance metrics. I have the exact same card you do and on ultra settings i get 36- 50 fps high settings i get 60+ so with two of those cards you should see much better performance. although my setup is a bit different I think the crossfire profiles will come out in the next release maybe in the next month or so. I really wanted to get the r9 290 but the price gouging currently at hand told me hell no and hold off for a few months.

ok thanks for the tip i will try this!
idd 290 is so tempting but i fell for the 270 cuz of price, and the difference between two 270 and 1 290 is not much but it is still cheaper with 2 270 ^^
