Hello, lately my graphics card is making alot of noise, like an airplane starting up. I know it normally does make alot of noise when i boot up, but this noise is much louder and it never stops. It really annoys me alot. I reinstalled windows 7 on my pc and the noise stopped when i restarted my pc, after a few days the noise came back. I am not sure if it is the graphics card's fans problem. I have my graphics card for a half year now. I have a Nvidia Gtx 760, sorry for my english and thank you! ^^

Install MSI afterburner and see what's the fan speed & temperature. On idle, fan speed should be quite low. You can manually set the speed as well if it's bothering you.
But if the fan is going plonkers then most likely the IC responsible for managing its speed is faulty and you should RMA it.

Thank you for your answer, i installed the MSI afterburner, my GPU's temperature is 29degrees and the fan speed says it's 43. I quess they are both very low? I think my only option left is to return my graphics card and hope to get a new one.

Yes idle temperature is perfect. 31ÂșC is the usual one but in your case it's lower because fan speed is more.

Who is the manufacturer of this card? Sometimes the installed driver also auto-manages the fan speed in improper way, settings are set by Nvidia who releases the driver so confirm this from somebody who has 760. Maybe fan speed is around 40-ish for idle, which is odd since it should be around 30 or below. Fans of some aftermarket coolers even shutdown at idle.

Also it could be some background process which might be causing that - unlikely though. In any case if the fan is not running the way it used to, then RMA it without hesitation.
