Monitor no signal after adding a second hdd

Hey

I have added a second harddrive to my desktop computer. Everything is running fine when I start the computer, but the monitor is black(no signal). I removed the second hdd and tried again but with no success (which is strange because it worked before I installed the second hdd, and now when I started my computer with only one hdd (my original hdd) it does not work. I have no idea why my original hdd that have always worked now does not work)
I have tried to:
Remove/moved the RAM memories to another place
Removed the CMOS battery
Controlling the VGA cable and it's adapter.
Tried to connect the hdd with a different cable

Possibilities:
The PSU is not powerful enough to power all the devices.
Something wrong with my graphics card.
An corrupted hdd.
Something wrong with my RAM/motherboard

For obvious reasons I cannot post my spec

Try another monitor also if possible. Black screen usually only means 3 things. Video card , mobo , or monitor itself. Now there is a plethora of other scenarios. Those are the 3 you want to confirm as working on their own though. Not sure why a HDD addition would change that. But as Dax said check and make sure you didn't unseat anything at 1st.

I tried to plug it into an another mointor and I also tried to connect the VGA cable to the motherboard VGA port, but it still wont work.

Also I think my RAM memories have been damaged, but could that be a reason to the problem?

Otherwise as you said it could be the motherboard/video card.

RAM wont cause it not to display. Also if the ram is out or damaged you will here a series of beeps. Something as simple as the cable died somehow perhaps ? You tried a different monitor on a different vga ? Most like the mobo vga is disabled anyways.

He'll only hear beeps if the case or the mobo has a speaker installed, which is rare on DIY PCs.

Only the high end ones and the ones they put in OEM PCs.
The high end ones usually have an error code display though.

Update:

I dont hear any beeps when I start the computer. But I noticed that when I connect the VGA cable directly to the motherboards VGA port. The little light on the monitor is that is orange turns green and the no signal message appear. But when I plug the VGA cable (with an adapter) to the Video cards port the light is still orange and the no signal message does not appear. Don't know if this have anything to do with the problem, but it is something I just noticed.

My motherboard is an asrock z68 extreme3 gen3
