What should I upgrade next? I have my full pc running and built but in a month or two I would like to upgrade a part of two, p

Solution

I would respectfully disagree with a few points.

1. no way a 3750k will become bottlenecked by two 660's. It is not going to happen. Look at the specs...http://ark.intel.com/products/65520

2. why would you recommend a 120hZ panel, I am curious to your justification? A cheap 120hZ panel cost over $400 and it is going to be at 1920X1080. Do you think that provides a good price-to-performance ratio considering the same amount of money could buy you a 2560x1440 panel or nearly a GTX 780? The benefit of 120hZ panel with his set-up would be barely noticeable...

These are my specs*

My rig:

Intel core i5 3750k @ 3.4 ghz

8 GB Corsair Vengence 1600mhz ram

Asus gtx 660 (not ti)/2GB0

Asus 24" Monitor

Seagate 1TB 3.5"

ASrock z77 Extreme 4 ATX LGA1155

Corsair 750 watt CX builder psu

Windows 8.1

NZXT Guardian 921

Logitech mk550

yeah, 2 660's will be really nice. if you only run a game and mabey a few internet tabs you should be ok with your ram, but i would recommend a better monitor unless it is already good, idk what you have. go for a dvi or hdmi monitor, im unhappy with my current VGA one. also try to get something with a really high refresh rate, like 120HTz. other than that, you would probly want to upgrade your cpu, because it will likey bottleneck 2 660"s.

with a standard 60HTz you will notice skipping when there are fast moving images on screen, but if you cant afford it then 60HTz is fine, you will notice some jumping from frame to frame. and the 3750k may not bottle neck 2 660's if the game is really gpu intensive, but if the game is cpu intensive the 3750k will really have to kick it in gear.

When you say "fast-moving images" I believe you are referring to screen-tearing. If that is an issue just throw on v-sync (two 660's will get you easily over 60fps in most games, so the cap will be a non-issue), It is much more cost-effective measure than a 120hZ monitor, even if one could afford it, until g-sync (or free-sync) comes into fruition, the gains are small but to each their own.
