I've just built a new system, which includes a Gigabyte z87x-ud4h in a GZ-G2 plus case. I am now looking to buy an after market cooler, and was looking at the Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO.
I am a bit concerned however that it will not fit. Gigabyte's page says that the tallest cooler that the case can take is 150mm, whereas the Coolermaster is supposedly 159mm. Having said that, I've measured the distance between the Mobo and the case and it looks like it is definitely in excess of 150mm, and is possibly as much as 159mm. I am therefore doubting Gigabytes assertion that 150mm is the max.
The only way to find out is to try it........... OR, ask someone else who has tried it first!
So, has anyone built a system like mine and managed to get the Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO to fit?
