PC will be mainly for gaming, a bit of youtube watching may be involved, but nothing excessive, budget is around 1k (I have some wiggle room) I will be hooking the PC up to a HDMI TV (To use for the monitor) and possible fraps (It's ok if frames drop to around 30) for recording, willing to spend a bit more for a better looking case as well, but I'm not 100% sure what's a good case for cooling.

This is my first build, so any and all comments are welcome, I'm looking for maximum performance, Thanks for your time and consideration to help me.

No, not really. You changed from an ATX board to a mITX board. So if that is what you want, you might as well go for a small case. Although, mITX boards will fit in a bigger case. They'll just look odd.

I was wondering about this, with the CPU being overclocked within reasonable levels (I won't be going overboard at all on this, if I decide to do it down the road) would 500w be enough? I decided to go overboard on this and go with the 600w as I don't quite know myself exactly how much more wattage overclocking would require at maximum performance.

Thanks for the input, do you have a specific case in mind? going based off what blinksay suggested with the smaller motherboard and the protege case, bigger is obviously better for me so I should go with a mid case? large? any input is extremely helpful.
