I've got a TX3 EVO that I was using with my FX-4100 but decided to use the stock for my 8320. Finding that the 8320 is running hot around 60degrees when gaming. Note I used stock cooler AND the stock paste.

If I changed to the TX3 EVO and AS5 paste would I see an improvement in temps?

I would use your CM cooler because AMD stock coolers are junk, and yes you'd definately see a temp improvement, no doubt.

The only problem is the TX3 EVO is slightly too big for my case, it touchs the edge of the casing around one of my intake fans(one of the ends on top of the copper pipe does) Is that okay or will it melt the plastic on the fan casing?

it should still operate ok. some people bend their cases out a tiny bit to accommodate (like with a hammer)
