i got a new build on 23rd last december and i faced some freezing problems during the first week....i changed my RAM timings for the manufactured and it lasted almost a month without freezing...now is freezing again (while gaming but also in windows)...
I already ran a memtest for 5hours with no errors and cpu reaching a max temp of 50C, no big deal i think... also, i've been constantly monitoring my temps and cpu has a 25C while idle and never goes above 45C while gaming, so i believe it is not due to overheating....
Sometimes it just freezes for a while (dragging the sound along with it) and i can work out a ctrl+alt+del, but mostly it freezes totaly! I've not uptaded my bios version yet...(was i supposed to?)
my specs:
Mobo: asus f2a55-m
Cpu AMD A6 6400k 4.1Ghz
8Gb RAM Kingston
Graphic card: Radeon 4670 512mb (this piece was not new, i was given it by a friend)
PSU 1life 600w
Hard drive toshiba 1Tb
