Hi, I bought the DayZ standalone today and I am already experiencing some huge problems.
My FPS is only at ~15.
The DayZ process in task manager is marked as a 32 bit process but my system is 64 bit, WHY?!
All my settings are set to low/very low but the fps is almost unchanged compared with normal settings. I also tried running the game in compitability mode for win 7 and xp with no result. The process has priority HIGH in task manager.
My specs are:
ASUS N56 Laptop
Intel i7 3630QM 2.4 GHz (quadcore, 8 thread) (turbo boost up to 3.2 GHz)
Intel HM76 Chipset.
8GB 1600 MHz DDR3 SDRAM
Nvidia Geforce GT635M 2GB DDR3 VRAM
750GB (7200RPM)
Win 8.1 64 Bit OS
Can anyone give me any tips regarding what can be wrong and how I can fix the fps problem a little bit? I would even settle with ~30 fps.
And can anyone explain why the game runs at 32 bit instead of 64 bit? That must lower the performance.
