well none of that is working for me, it just keeps trying to restart and will never go past the no signal box then it trys again and again on its own, can never get it to quite get into the windows xp screen to finish booting up. ive tried safe mode and that isn't working at all either. please if anyone knows what I can do, it would be greatly appreciated.

Try a Repair setup of Windows. If that does not work, you will need to do a full clean setup of Windows after backing up your files (can do so from a Linux boot disk to an external drive). Or simply get a second hard drive and install Windows on that one.
You may have a hardware issue as well, hard drive could be bad, maybe RAM.
