I'd say go with whichever one your laptop prefers. The user's manual should say which one it needs, but if it doesn't, Crucial.com has a Memory Advisor Tool that should help.

That's not a good idea. If you put the wrong memory in, at best your laptop won't work. At worst, something gets damaged. Find which type you need, then go from there. You may be able to determine which voltage you need based on what is already installed.

Unfortunately, I have no idea and no way to figure out what's already installed. All the specs on that G Skill match the one Crucial's memory finder recommends.
