Should I really go for 120hz?

I was thinking of buying the Asus VG248QE for gaming on my future rig including the i7 4770K and a GTX 780, however, I'm not sure whether I want a 120hz+ monitor, because that means I'd have to stay above 120 FPS at all times in order not to see fluctuation in frames per second and smoothness.

In other words, I like when my FPS are constant, so I wouldn't like to play a game of BF4 where it varies from 90 to 120 FPS and I wouldn't be enjoying the full potential of my 120hz monitor throughout the whole game.

However, if I never got used to 120hz and sticked to 60hz, I would only have to stay above 60 FPS, which is a piece of cake compared to 120 FPS, and I would be enjoying constant smoothness and not something that varies.

So, what should I do, guys? If someone could enlighten me on th is subject, I'd be very grateful.

Solution
As a gamer, yes it is worth the investment. You may notice at times when it drops down to 90 but by no means will you notice graphic lag nor will it be for a long period of time.

I've already watched the video. I was just wondering if it's worth buying a 120hz monitor, since it may be possible that my FPS will fluctuate from 90 to 120, for example, and I may be able to see the difference in FPS while it varies.
