(EDIT: Before these new speakers I had a Sound Bar speaker with just a central speaker. Turns out my motherboard is defective or at least the audio jack is.)

[strike]Today my new speakers arrived (listed below), I hooked them up and played some music to test them out. No sound was coming from the left speaker, I immediately thought they were faulty until I plugged-in my iPhone to make sure. Both speakers worked as they should, next I hooked it up to my laptop, worked, then to my fathers computer... again they worked.

I assumed the problem might be 'balancing' and checked it out, everything was as it should be. The speakers are set to the default. I went into the Realtek HD Audio Manager and checked settings in there, same story. During sound tests; sound was just BARELY coming out of the left speaker, I had to put my ear up to it in order to hear it though.

I then went on to update my Audio drivers, which also didn't work. I tried uninstalling them, rebooting, installing them fresh and that didn't work either. I put in my motherboard software disc and ran the Live Update tool, updated my Bios and everything. Still the problem persists.
When I plug-in headphones (into the volume controller for the speakers) only the right side gets audio. However it works on other computers. I'm stumped. If anyone has any suggestions, please, I'd appreciate any help I can get.[/strike]

On another note; I built this computer myself, I installed everything necessary, including my chipset. However, I constantly have a white flag in the bottom right corner which tells me to "Install your chipset driver." I've clicked on it and it took me to Intel's site, where I downloaded the chipset, installed it and rebooted. Though the next time I restart the flag is there again. Not sure why and I'm not sure if the first problem is related to this.

Thank you for taking your time to read this and help me out.
