Hi,
My old motherboard went bad, so I bought a new mother board today to fit all of my older components. However, I have a problem, when I plug the monitor thru GPU output I get a black screen and nothing is happening. But, when I plug it thru motherboard I do have a vision on the screen. In the device manager, it doesn't show me my GTX 650 and driver software says no hardware is found. I have 750w PSU and my video card is connected to power supply. I have MSI h61m-e33/w8 motherboard. I have looked into similar problems on this forum, but failed to find a solution. In the BIOS PCI slot set to AUTO. I have tried to video card on my friends computer and it worked. Please help.

hello, I was trying to check the manual from MSI site, but there is nothing there to guide you on how to adjust the BIOS. However, it seems that you already tried to play with it, so I guess the best solution for that, is to use the PCIe graphics option on the BIOS setup.

I don't even see an option to disable onboard graphics card.

OK after doing some more research, I figured it out and it works now. I made a bootable USB and download it new bios update on it, and then flashed my bios with it and after that my monitor was working thru my GPU.
