Hello, I've been searching 3.5 to 5.25 hot swap single bay of good quality, but the brands out there seem to be the contrary, and very unknown to me (except for Roswill, more or less).

Could you guys recommend some, and give tips?
Also, why won't they just make simple mechanical bays without the need for their propietary drivers, and adapters, or force some models to use molex adapters for example, and not just leave a simple opening to connect regular sata and non molex power adapters?

This one looks awesome, but I read that it has a lot of plastic, and easy to break parts in it:

PS: Won't hot swap on a live PC. Will turn off, and on before doing so (read too many times that they have major problems swapping while the PC is ON)

Won't use the USB 3.0, or the 2.5 SSD space, but would gladly receive recommendations for others to read.

I couldn't find DUAL bays, only triples, and up... don't know why, but wouldn't mind singles.

Thanks, I have seen that brand before, and it seems to be the most popular for this kind of device, but it's also very criticized as well for low quality parts.

I wonder why can't people just create the same device without using their propietary drivers, and simply leave the back open to use the same cables we'd normally use? Maybe their drivers have something to do with RAID? I don't know.
