Here's my system set up:

Motherboard: Biostar B75MU3+
CPU: Intel Core i5-3470
Memory: 2x4GB DDR3 1600MHz PC12800
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
HDD: Toshiba 1TB 7200 RPM DT01ACA300
3-monitor display:
2 on the on-board display ports (1 VGA, 1 DVI)
3rd via Startech USB to VGA Adapter (problem occurred prior to this being added)

The parts were all purchased brand new and assembled this past November. From the beginning, I've been having problems with the video. When playing some web-based videos or visiting some websites, the system will lock up. It becomes totally unresponsive and the only thing I can do is hold down the power button until it shuts off.

The only way I know to absolutely cause this to happen is to run the system rating process from the control panel. As soon as it says "Checking Aero 3D", the systems locks.

I've uninstalled, re-installed and updated every driver I can think of related to the video chipset, I'm still having the same problem. Today, I tried to watch a video on NFL.com. Within 15 seconds of entering full screen mode, the system locked. It happened 3 times in a row.

Am I missing something, or do I just have a bad motherboard?

Solution
Yes, it would be a solution. Dedicated video card will handle 3 monitor like charm.
I have had experience with radeon R7 260X and 650Ti. Radeon has better options for monitor combination.

Bios is already up to date and as stated "I've uninstalled, re-installed and updated every driver I can think of related to the video chipset, I'm still having the same problem."

Well, it's said that support up to 3 monitors, but can it handle it's a little bit different. I would say, and I think you concluded also, it can't handle 2 monitors, and it's a chipset problem.

Sorry we didn't find solution.

Would the solution then be to upgrade to a better video card, one built to handle 3 monitors?
