PCI-e 3.0 cards work just fine on PCI-e 2.

This is a gaming build right?
Your build is lopsided. Powerful CPU but weaker graphics card is pointless in a gaming PC.

What monitor resolution do you have?
What games do you play?
Have you bought all of these components already?

i have not gotten the parts yet i was planning on getting them sometime middle of march. Also with the strong cpu i thought it may help with loading time, double screen, multiple thing open, single player and multi-player games.

MUCH better gaming build. This leaves you with enough for a monitor with you are not counting tax.
