Is there any way to check if my components got fryed?

Is there any way to check if my compnents got fryed? yesterday my PSU blew up WHEN IT WAS POWERED OFF!!!!! Like i woke up and i went to make my self sum cereal and i heard a pop and i ran over to look at it..The buttion on the power supply was off and it was powered down?? did it fry any componets...and if so is there any way to test them? BTW i have no other PC.PS whats a good PSU on newegg?

If it was a cheap power supply it most like did some damage. But there is no way to check without another PSU to test with.

Guess you could check your motherboard for burn marks but that is not really a perfect test.
