Alright yall, I am at my wits end on this one.

The tv detects the HDMI connection and switches me to the correct input, however afterwards all it says is that there is no signal for the current input.

If i restart the computer while it's connected, the windows startup screens display fine on the tv, however as soon as it goes to loading desktop it goes back to saying that there is no signal so at least I know the HDMI cable actually works...

Specs:

Running Windows 7 64bit
AMD Radeon HD 7970M
TV is an LG 55LA6910 (55" Full HD Smart 3D LED LCD TV)

Any other specs you might need let me know. Anyone have any suggestions?

I have also checked and I have current graphics drivers (and i tried rollback to no avail)

right click on the desktop and open the screen resolution window it should show two screens if its being seen properly also just try pressing windows key + P and selecting one of the options there

Screen resolution window doesn't show 2 screens so for some reason it's not picking up the tv after startup finishes? Fiddling with the projector settings doesn't work either unfortunately.

Thanks for the suggestions though.

Only 1 display is listed and I can't see anything that's out of place.

This is really starting to bug me, shouldn't be this hard... on the bright side while trying to fix this I worked out what was wrong with my surround sound... apparently you have to set what the HDMI port is to be used for and the tv changes its settings to be appropriate. Unfortunately switching the settings to PC/Notebook doesn't fix my issues here.

Alright so if i disable my graphics card it works fine... obviously this isn't the best solution though.

Gonna uninstall and reinstall the drivers and see if anything changes. Any other suggestions would be amazing!

Current status = I have no idea. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the entire graphics card, updated every driver i can find that isn't and still nothing.

The pc only seems to project a display when my graphics card is disabled so I assume it's something there but I have no idea how to fix it... someone please help!
