Battlefield 3 Cpu issue

Hey guys i've got intel core i5 2.27 ghz and i've got an issue with battlefield 3 new started.
Before i play the game my cpu speed is 2.11 ghz after starting the game that speed drops 1.70 or 1.50 ghz and game stutters. Can anyone help me with this issue?

Sounds like your CPU is throttling due to heat. What temperature is your CPU at this point? What kind of CPU cooler do you have?

I using laptop so there isn't cpu cooler

Ah, I see. Then it definitely could be temperature throttling. What temperature is it getting while playing? You can use a software like HWMonitor to check. What kind of surface are you playing on?

Oh and i've got Windows 8.1 and my cpu temperature is 50C degrees and maximum 80C degrees

It could be throttling when it gets up to 80C. Make sure it is playing on a flat surface and nothing is blocking the fan air flow. Might want to invest in a laptop cooler.
