I have for a while now looked at many components for the rig I would like, shaving manoeynoff one item and spending more on another. to start with I will give you a list of my final choice (so far):
CPU: Intel Core i5-4670 3.4GHz Socket 1150 Quad Core £160.88
Motherboard: ASUS Z87M-PLUS (C2) £86.69
RAM: G.Skill RipjawsX 8GB DDR3 2133MHz Dual Channel £66.53
PSU: CORSAIR CS Series Modular CS650M — 650 Watt 80 PLUS Gold Certified £76.56
CPU Cooler: Enermax ETD-T60-VD £40.97
Is it possible to have this cooler in red not blue?
GPU: Palit GeForce GTX770 4GB GDDR5 Jetstream Edition £268.92
I have gone for the 4gb edition as it is not much more expensive and the specifications are superior.
Case: Aerocool X-Predator X3 Avenger Edition Full Tower Gaming Case £83.50
and also a selection of red Enermax 120mm/140mm led fans. From £10 - £20
I would like peoples opinion on each item individually and as a whole, cheaper options that would do the job just as well or if it is worth spending a touch more for a longer lasting power pc.
