System keeps crashing

Over the last 2 days my computer has crashed 4 times and I cant figure out what its caused by? I've once received a screen saying "We've shut the computer down to OR prevent further damage OR prevent any damage", cant remember. The other 3 times my whole screen just lagged and sound got stuck and just crashed, it had vertical stripes in the screen


Any idea what this may cause?

Do overclockers sometimes expreience this problem when the volt // ghz is unstable? Shall I put it back to standard and take it from there? Or do you presume its broken, a videocard bought a month ago for 210 euro xD (R9 270x asus)

Will do, in what kind of time span should I see it crash again? I mean like I cant remember it crashing while earching the browser or anything, been a couple times while playing a game.. I did quite a very loud (loading) noise from inside the computer earlier that I never hear.. Could it have bee nthe videocard acting up or havignto push itself or does it make similar noise to CPU?
