HD 5850 No Display But fan spins HELP PLEASE

hi im hd 5850 isnt starting up but the fan is spinning and i have all the cables connected etc but its just not showing anything on any of the 3 screens ive tried, i dont a bios flash yesterday and from point thats where its happened

I dont have onboard video as i have a amd athlon 245

please help THANKS

Have you reset the BIOS? You can give that a try, and/or reset the battery in the motherboard. I recall an issue I worked out with a friend. His Radeon 280 card wasn't putting out a display, but the fans were active. He had to jump his motherboard, and the card worked again.

i just blind flashed the card and hope for the best, it worked, back up and running now

its quite easy, just used the usb i used for the first flash (i made a bios backup) and just typed atiflash -f -p 0 backup.rom (name of rom) and left it for a good 10 mins and switched pc off via power button and pressed it again to boot back up, and it worked
