Hello again everybody.

Please excuse me if my question is not displayed in a format that's easy to read. I don't know how I arrived at a full screen last time so I'm writing this in the little box on the right hand side (instructions for the correct procedure would be appreciated). *nevermind found it*

I have an i5 4670K, MSI Z87-GD65, 12 GB @ 1333 (mixed brands, 8gb Corsair? + 4gb Kingston), 2x Asus GTX 660 ti in SLI and a EVGA SC 770 on the way.

My main monitor is an Asus 27" 120Mhz 3D and I have two AOC 27" 60Mhz either side.

I'm hoping for advice on my next move or even just some reassurance about what I've done so far. I really jumped the gun in committing to buy the 770 @ 2gb I think. I've had my heart set on two of them for a little while now. First I lashed out for the 3D monitor not really considering that its enabled only by the green team and their glasses. That's the bundle anyway. I scrounge from week to week seeking instant gratification instead of being patient and accumulation funds for the sensible and affordable parts. I couldn't give two hoots about what brand GPU I end up with or how noisy a card is but the best value for money. I'm very pleased with my 660 ti's but when I set up the three monitors they took a hit. BF3 and 4 aren't too bad but Crysis 3? Forget it at high settings. So here's me thinking I will upgrade to the 770, sell my 660 ti's, get another 770 and all will be sweet. BUT how smart is this idea really? How much does VRAM play a part in this? Not knowing better I though I would grab the reasonably priced 2gb 770 and get a 4gb one later giving me 6gb. Wrong. Would I be correct in understanding that as long as the GPU model is the same all other variables are compatible and dictated to by the lowest common denominator? What should I do to ensure decent FPS on three screens at high settings? Will another 2gb 770 to SLI do the job or should I sell the one I've ordered with my 660 ti's and get a 4gb one or even a 780 or 780 ti? I have to get another PSU as well to run two 770's.

By the way if anyone is wondering about my odd combination of monitors, the AOC's were dirt cheap. I'd love 3x3D but that's way out reach financially so I have one drive setup to play in 3D with one monitor and the other setup to play 5760x1080 in 2D.

Also I'm in Australia so no point in links to Amazon. Cheers

Solution
I agree with the 780 Ti being the best single card for your solution, but the 2 770s are also killer as well, destroying any single card on the market. 3GB will be better going forward, as well as having the option to SLI 780 Tis in the future, but if you're not modding excessively 2GB won't really be too bad.

But if you can get a decent price back on the 770, 780 Ti would be the way to go :)

Just checked out some prices here and the 780 ti is only about $100 bucks more than it is there. So I reckon if I can handle waiting I could get maybe $550 for my 660 ti's and $350 for the 770 so that'd work and I wouldn't have to get another PSU.
