I have an Acer Aspire 47432 Laptop with dual-channels, each with a 2G Kingston DDR3 1033 stick. One channel went bad and screen won't illuminate unless stick is removed. Can I put a 4G stick in the lone functioning channel? I inadvertantly bought a 4G 1066MHz stick that initially worked, but then screen went black. With 2G stick re-inserted, it works again. Is the problem the wrong speed (1066 vs 1333) or that 4G won't work in single functioning channel?
