I just installed a brand new Samsung 840 Pro into my Samsung Chronos 7. Did a clean install of Windows 8.1 and just recently optimized through Samsung Magician. When I do the Performance Benchmark (ran about 4 times). I get roughly 1000 or a little more on both my sequential read and write but I only get roughtly 20000 IOPS give or take. Anyone have any clue?

Also, I've tried to run the OS optimization as well, then when I let the application restart and I reopen the application, it still says "Current Status: Advanced" like something is setting those values separately.

Solution
the 512B are the only thing that look 'off' to me. Correct driver is being used and the offset is ok. I still suspect its the chipset as yours still outperforms the one I have in my laptop.
