From 16 bit to 32 bit

I have a Dell Demension 2400 which I have had to install a new hard drive. Everthing is OK apart from the fact I can not get colour to change from 26 bit to 32 bit there for any pages are too big for screen.Where will I find the correct driver to solve this problem. Ive been onto Dell driver site but can not find driver. Any help would be appriciated with name of driver

Ive been onto that Dell site and downloaded all the video drivers but no joy. Ive also written to Dell ( cheaper than phone )and waiting for reply,. I hope they have the decently to reply as I enclosed a stamped addressed envelope.
