Hi guys
The hard drive failed on my HP Pavilion P6-2180ea running Windows 7 64 bit. I've replaced the hard drive with a WD 500gb Mainstream Classique. I haven't got a Windows 7 installation disc but i do have a Vista 32 bit disc and a Windows 7 upgrade disc, My problem is that after installing Vista i'm missing some drivers, i cant get the machine online due to this. Is this because i'm trying to install Vista on it instead of Windows 7 64 bit, Can i get these drivers from anywhere, I'm also a newbie to all this so any help would be much appreciated.
Many Thanks
MIXXY

You need to get the drivers from the HP website. UK site is here: http://www8.hp.com/uk/en/drivers.html

For other countries, click the UK flag at bottom-left of page.

Download the network drivers from HP, using a PC which has internet access. You can download them to a pen drive.
Then plug the pen drive in to your Pavilion and install the network drivers to give you internet access on it.
You can then download the other drivers you need from HP.
