what is the best way to hook up dual monitors ?

I have hdmi and dvi outputs available. Is it better to split dvi with a Y adaper or use hdmi for second monitor.

Are you looking to duplicate or extend? HDMI is just fine.

HDMI will do just fine. As long as your refresh rate is 60 and your resolution isn't 4k lol

you can't split if you want to extend the desktop. you will need to run DVI to one monitor and HDMI to the other monitor. the image will be 99.99999653% equal in quality.
