I want to build a gaming PC that can run Skyrim at an average of 60 FPS with many, many, many MODS installed. I also want to be able to play resource-intense games like Crysis 3 and Metro 2033 at max settings at playable framerates (MIN 30 FPS)

Can this build accomplish this and are there any recommendations on changes to make, etc..

Why not just get 120GB SSD and purchase 2x1TB and put them in RAID 0 configuration? Saves money and you can store more programs and games. Personally, I would purchase the 4670k as it is a new chip and a more future proof socket.

The 4670k is the wrong socket type LGA 1150, my motherboard is LGA 1155

and I have no use for 2TB of storage when I finish a game I delete it because it is useless to waste the space when I am no longer interested in playing the game.

I intend to store all data on the SSD because 500 GB is more than enough for me

I am not concerned with futureproofing because that does not exist

I have no plans to replace the CPU any time soon so the future socket type is irrelevant
