Short and sweet:

Friend is running two 7870's, they have been working fine until last night, and he noticed his FPS in BF4 was 40-60... CF option is gone in CCC... Boot in safe mode, run driver sweeper, take 1 card out, install AMD CCC again, shut down, put 2nd card back in, still no CF option.... Both cards have power and GPU z picks them up but not in CF...

Specs:
MSI GD65 Z87 mobo
2x 7870's
8gb RAM 1600
Win 8
I5 4670K

Thinking the CF bridge may be bad, we put the cards in my system and it worked fine.... So anyone have any idea?

Specs for my rig:

AsRock Extreme4 Z77
I5 3570K @ 4.2ghz
8GB ram @ 1600
Win 8

If you have described your process thoroughly, I think you left out one crucial bit of deduction: Removing and reseating the first card. If the bridge worked fine in your machine then there's nothing wrong with it. Yet, if the top card (in the PCI x16 slot) is not seated properly neither will work. Also check to see if the two slots share bandwidth (easily found in the motherboard manual), and if so you may need to change some bios settings. Sometimes a simple change in bios settings is necessary to force the two to share the bandwidth.

Good Luck
