Hello, I have inserted a new Samsung RAM M393B1K70DH0-YH9, it is a 8GB DDR3 PC10600 1333Mhz.
And I get a RAM error light and soung signal on the mobo. The computer keeps restarting itself.

If instead I put the Gskill PC17000 DDR ram it works fine.
Do you know whether PC10600 RAM are unsupported on slots that accept for sure PC17000 ?
Or what else can be the issue? Some incompatibility?
EDIT: I have just found that in the Samsung ram there is written "PC3L" and according to Wikipedia it is a low voltage DDR3L standard is 1.35V. I cannot see any information in the mainboard whether it supports this kind of ram. Does anybody know?
EDIT 2: I have now found that this Samsung ram seems to be ECC and registered. In the asus mobo manual there is written that the ram should be non-ecc and un-buffered. Maybe this is the reason? But not sure about this... in the Samsung website I don't see any info on whether it is ECC or not, buffered or not...
