Tell me what you think. Will I bottleneck anything, will cooling be a problem, will it be a hard build, and whatever else you think

Wow, this is almost the same as my build, even the case is the same: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2NOnX

Mine is a bit more expensive because of the aftermarket cpu cooler and different storage drives.

I might go with the Sniper series for RAM, it looks both cheaper and faster than the Ripjaws in my build, unless I'm missing something.

consider this build i saw this yesterday

Motherboard - ASUS P8Z77-V-LK-------------------------------------------- $130
Graphic Card - ASUS GTX760-DC2OC-2GD5 GeForce GTX760 2GB ---- $ 265
CPU - Intel Core i7 4770K @ 3.5 GHz-----------------------------$ 300
Power Supply- Corsair GS 700 (Plus Bronze Certified)--------------------$ 95
RAM not included
CD/DVD Drive- Asus 24x DVD-RW Optical Drive DRW-24B1ST------------$ 20
HDD's/Storag- WD Clavir Blue 1TB Interal SATA Drive @7200RPM-------$ 60
OS/Windows - Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64bit (Full)------------------------$ 150

UPDATE: And the monitor and keyboard/mouse should cost you around another $100 Charge, Sorry I completely forgot about them.

NOTE: With an original Windows, The Rig will cost you $ 1020

CPU and motherboard and NOT compatible. You need a z87 board for that CPU.

The PSU is average at best. The GS series uses the same poor quality capacitors as the CX series does. Change it to an XFx unit or a different Corsair unit. XFX offers Seasonic PSUs re-branded for AMAZING prices. They are the most popular now-a-days.

Also, the GTX760 is not even CLOSE to the performance of the 780. This build is considerably worse than what OP is looking at.

So, for this build, why would the person have an i7, and a 760, isn't that the opposite way it should be, expensive fancy gpu, with a pretty good cpu, like my thing above?
What would be the reason for that, is an i7 really necessary?

I might just make this into a micro atx build, so feel free to make suggestions for that

You are 100% correct and no an i7 is NEVER necessary for a gaming build. An i5 is perfect. An i7 is a waste for gaming.

Just messing around quickly, seems I'm actually getting more bang for the buck with this setup, vs getting a really nice motherboard (want at least 2133mhx ram support, and potential to sli), and a mATX case, as the case will coll better with sli, and besides, it's is a pretty damn sexy case, with some truly amazing cooling ability.
