So currently I only have a motherboard that can support an lga775 CPU. I have a sff case, is there any mobo I can buy that supports an i3 or any dual core really and fits a sff case. My current specs are
2gb ram ddr2
Radeon 7700s low profile
80gb hardrive only 5 GB left(can I get an external one)
320 psw

If your old PC is not a custom build and is an OEM (HP, Dell etc. if you change the mobo , you are also going to need a new operating system, as OEM OS's are 'attached' to the mobo.

For the price you're going to pay tearing it apart, you might consider starting fresh. You could reuse your optical drive, case, and HDD.
