Hi :)
Unfortunately I have 3 problems.
Firstly, I have terrible fps, whatever I play. I played bf4 and it was horrendous.
I even played some old low end offline games like halo 1 and NFS most wanted.
All of them had lag and it would freeze then teleport.
Secondly, when I played NFS and Halo the game was on fast foward. Halo went back to normal sometimes but it still did that.
Thirdly, I keep getting alt tabbed out of my games. I literally turned off all applications besides the game and turned off the other proccesses that werent needed.
This may all come down to a bad computer. But here are relevant specs:
CPU AMD FX6300
GPU MSI Radeon HD 7850.
It also might be useful to know that I did a full computer scan with my antivirus.
Thanks in advanced.

Some older games depend on frame rates for game speed. It is best to run these games with Vsync on in game or in the video cards control panel.

Please make sure you are not hitting the START key by mistake as this will kick you out(minimize) of a game as well.

BF4 has some high system requirements so you may need to fine tune some settings to get it to run better.

1. Battlefield 4 is still a relative mess for quite a few people, don't judge your system based on that, I used to (and on some maps, still) get awful FPS in BF4 but in other games like the Crysis games I would get great FPS.
2. Halo 1 is a very old game, and is optimized for very old OS's and old components, including single core and maybe dual core CPU's, while yours is six-core. Those old games were generally speed bound by FPS, and so is NFS, as demonstrated by TotalBiscuit.

Well for bf4 my friend has the same gpu and I run it on low or medium without anti aliasing. I run a 8gb corsair ram. For alt tabbing problem I literally can just sit there watching the game and it can alt tab. I'll try downloading the AV. probably avastBut my worst problem is the freezing than teleporting to where I should be. Thanks for the replies and any more would be happily welcomed

I have halo 1 and have no issues what so ever and i have 8 core + gtx 560. I actually brought my pc to a buddy's house where him and his brother have nice pc's, 1 has i5 and one has i7 both sli linking 1gb cards(not sure what ones) and we all joined a server on halo 1 and none of us had issues. Even when system linking just the 3 of us, everything was still flawless. So i very much dought that is the issue.

Avast couldn't find a virus if you pointed it to the directory where the virus was located. So I wouldn't judge not having viruses with only having avast.

Hi. I know this is extremely late but I have been out of town for a bit. Anyways, when I got back home, I downloaded an antivirus. I did a full scan and no lag occurred :) BUT! I brought back downstairs (because I had to bring it up for an ethernet connection) and the lag came back.... And im talking the low end offline games. I did a full scan again and deleted all the malware but it still lags :(

Hmm if the anti virus keeps finding viruses every time you scan, posibly a rootkit. Try kasperskys free anti rootkit program works wonders....Direct Download: http://support.kaspersky.com/downloads/utils/tdsskiller.exe

So you don't lagg upstairs on OFFLINE games, but you lagg downstairs on OFFINE games?

I was thinking your wireless card is just to slow if playing online games, but you stated its offine games...

Yeah it wasnt the wireless card. Anyways, after a few days of just using my pc and checking the offlinegames, it randomly started working fine. I hope it stays this way :)
