I have been having some trouble with my PC as of late. Everything seems to be fine and then all of a sudden my PC freezes up and I have to reset it because nothing else will work. This problem also comes with this really loud buzzing noise that doesn't come from the PC itself, its more of an audio thing. The main problem is the freezing though. I've tried everything from switching RAM sticks to running a virus scan several times a day. I have checked my CPU temperature as well, it never exceeds 40 degrees Celsius. Can someone help?

The brand is SPI (Sparkle Power Inc.). It sounds really obscure. I'll buy a new one soon and see if there is any improvement.

Sparkle is a medicore brand for OEM machines, but is not one of the ones I would ever recommend for someone replacing their power supply. Buy Antec, Corsair, PCP&C, SeaSonic, Silverstone, or XFX.
