I'm looking to build a very small gaming desktop because I love to game, but I am always traveling. I also don't want a laptop. I was looking, and I would prefer to have a slim case like this one.

http://www.cclonline.com/product/87399/T01B/Cases/Powercool-T01B-Slim-Black-Desktop-Chassis/CAS0678/

I was trying to find all the parts and everything to build it myself, but I only have basic hardware knowledge. I also am not confident in my ability to find parts that will fit in whatever slim case I choose.

As far as specs of what I want, I want a gaming desktop that can handle running the upcoming elder scrolls online on maximum settings. I would also hope to play the upcoming game "The Division" on high to max settings, but I have no idea what system requirements that game will have.

My budget is very high, so don't worry about that. I am curious if anything capable of running those games on max settings could be built on a low budget too.

The issue with that case is it wont fit many higher end graphics cards. Anyways how high is you budget? These specs listed below are pretty good and you will definitely be able to run ESO on ultra-high settings. Now all of these prices are in US dollars, so i apologize if they are not available from where you are. The total comes to around $1483 US dollars or 910 pounds. Let me know if you need anything else(cheaper parts, different case...). Hope you like the parts and I hope you get get a beta key :)

Thanks for the reply.

I'm actually hoping to build something with less width. Something comparable to the alienware x51 I guess. Any thoughts on that? Oh yeah, I'm in the U.S., so dollars are perfect for me. Thanks

I'm going to guess your normal desktop is a big, heavy monster with multiple HDD's and large size.... my suggestions are either a high end laptop or smaller "full" sized PC.

I tried a slim solution like this (silverstone SG03 SFF case based gaming pc)... it was very costly and ended up with cooling issues (as so few CPU coolers fit).

If already having to bring a monitor/keyboard/mouse/etc to be able to use the portable system - what's the difference in bringing a very confined/small case - and a smaller "full" size case that will accept and any all CPU/GPU's?

I'm not saying it's a huge deal. I'm just wondering if it is possible at this point. I would just prefer the slim case, and I would like to see if anyone has a solution for that. If I have to end up getting something like what was posted, then that's what I will do. I might as well see if anyone could make the slim case work. It doesn't hurt to check, right?

I like that idea; however, I would like to see if anyone can make the case I referenced work. I built a tiki on Falcon Northwest's website, and they have so many options available with such a small case. Is it feasible to just find a slim case around the same size as the Tiki (since I guess I can't just buy a Tiki case) and build my pc with parts based off of the options they have available for it?
